Just Between Friends Is a Top Choice for a Home-Based Franchise

‘Franchise Business Review’ names JBF to prestigious list

For entrepreneurs whose goal is to work a franchise business based at home, Just Between Friends is a top choice, according to results from a recent Franchise Business Review (FBR) survey. JBF claims the No. 5 spot on FBR’s Top 10 Home-Based Franchises for Moms

JBF consignment franchise wins top award for women

“We’ve always believed that a JBF business is ideal for moms who want the flexibility and freedom of a home-based business,” said Shannon Wilburn, co-founder and CEO of Just Between Friends. “Having our franchisees confirm that in this recent FBR survey is especially gratifying. We love knowing that our franchise owners are able to be at home with their families while also running successful businesses, doing work they love that helps others. JBF really does give a business owner the best of both worlds.”
California franchise owner Monique Gipson said that it was this aspect of JBF that helped her decide to join our franchise over another type of business. She researched other traditional franchise options, like a quick-service restaurant sandwich shop, but the financial and time investments weren’t a good fit. “I was looking for an opportunity to work and raise my kids at the same time — that is really my passion,” she says. “I looked at a deli-type franchise just to see what it took to own a franchise. The dollar figures were pretty depressing, and it required a lot more time away from my family. With JBF I get to own my own business AND that time with my family, which is what I really want!”
Our franchise business model requires a minimum of two sales per year. Many of our franchisees are stay-at-home moms and dads who want to make additional money for their families. The beauty of our model is it suits the lifestyles of our owners, and they have a choice about how big they want their businesses to grow.

JBF franchisees enjoy their franchise businesses

FBR surveyed over 5,723 female franchisees representing 240 franchise brands. Each survey participant was asked 33 benchmark questions about their franchisor that focused on areas such as leadership, training, and core values, as well 16 more-personal questions concerning topics such as their business lifestyle and overall enjoyment of running their franchise.

Through these surveys, FBR found the franchises that were rated highest among women franchisees and then narrowed the list to include only home-based business opportunities. Because FBR awards are based upon franchisee satisfaction, landing on one of their lists is especially meaningful.
