California franchise owners recognized for their success
Just Between Friends franchise owners Jennifer and Matt Hundley are one of Franchise Business Review’s 50 Rockstar Franchisees for 2018. Selected from more than 27,000 franchisees representing more than 300 brands, the Hundleys own the JBF franchise in North Bay, California. For more than eight years, the Hundleys have been running their successful event. In 2011, they attained top achiever status, which is awarded to franchisees with gross sales topping $100,000 at one sales event. In 2018, a team of independent judges awarded them Just Between Friends’ prestigious Franchise of the Year award and the Community Impact Award, for serving their community during the deadly October wildfires in Sonoma and Napa Counties. Shannon Wilburn, JBF co-founder and CEO, and her leadership team nominated the Hundleys for this award. Wilburn says she is not surprised the Hundleys were chosen as one of the 50 Rockstars. “Jennifer and Matt Hundley have been rock stars within our company since they first became franchise owners. They are creative and compassionate and truly put their community first. They work hard to build and grow their business and in turn are able to help more families,” Wilburn said. “There are so many fantastic success stories out there; it was painful to narrow our list down to just 50 Rockstar Franchisees,” said Michelle Rowan, President of Franchise Business Review. “There were hundreds of deserving business owners. In the end, we picked 50 individuals that really stood out.
